  • Manchester United are willing to offer 27-year-old Argentine winger Angel Di Maria to Paris St-Germain in exchange for the French club’s Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, 28. (Star on Sunday) 
  • United boss Louis van Gaal is also targeting Everton right-back Seamus Coleman, 26, who is valued at £20m. (The Sun – subscription required) 
  • The Old Trafford club have agreed a £25m deal for Southampton’s 25-year-old French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and the Red Devils’ spending will continue with a £20m bid for Ajax’s 26-year-old Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen. (Sunday Mirror)
  • Saints manager Ronald Koeman has already lined up two replacements for Schneiderlin. Koeman will buy Dutch playmaker Jordy Clasie, 24, from Feyenoord for £10m and Lille’s 25-year-old midfielder Idrissa Gueye for £7m.(Sunday Express)
