Injured Mesut Ozil Shows Off His Modelling Skills [PHOTOS]

Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil who is currently sidelined with an injury posted this pictures which he took while modelling for esquire UK. Cool!

Girlfriend Of Arsenal Star Moves Out Of His Home After Cheating Claims

Mesut Ozil’s girlfriend Mandy Capristo has reportedly moved out of his London home just a week after the Arsenal star was accused of ‘muscling in’ on another woman – with a removal van pictured outside the house on Friday.

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Christian Lell claimed Ozil was ‘muscling in’ on his relationship with ex-girlfriend Melanie Rickinger last week.

The Arsenal man is out until the end of 2014 with a knee ligament injury and he has reportedly been given a double blow with the news Capristo has moved her stuff out if his home.

Singer Capristo had been living with the player valued at £42million in west London and is a judge on the X Factor-style reality show ‘Germany’s Search for a Superstar’.

It has been reported that Ozil exchanged intimate messages with model Rickinger on the messaging service WhatsApp. Both Ozil and Capristo have refused to comment on the allegations.

Injured Arsenal Star Midfielder Accused Of Cheating On His Girlfriend

Capristo is Ozil’s girlfriend but he has been accused of cheating on her by German Lell

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been dragged into a public row with a fellow German footballer and accused of cheating on his pop star girlfriend Mandy Capristo.

Former Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin player Christian Lell accused Ozil of ‘muscling in’ on his relationship with former girlfriend Melanie Rickinger.

In an interview with Bild, Lell somewhat ungraciously described his ex as a ‘snake’ and explained that she had exchanged intimate messages with Ozil on the messaging service WhatsApp.

‘Mesut exploited his fame, and muscled in on our relationship,’ said Lell. ‘That isn’t OK’.Ozil himself has refused to comment on the situation.

‘We are not commenting on this. We will keep an eye on the situation, and take legal action if necessary,’ said his agent Roland Eitel.Lell’s ex-girlfriend Rickinger has said her former boyfriend is ‘crazy’.

She has not denied the accusations of an affair with Ozil, but did insist that Lell had accessed her messages without her permission.’I deleted everything on my phone. He must have gone on himself and backed everything up,’ she said. ‘He’s completely crazy.

Aaron Ramsey (And Not Ozil) Epitomizes Arsenal’s Resilience This Season

Never did we think we could run out of superlatives to describe Aaron Ramsey. The midfielder was simply magnificent on his return to Cardiff, scoring his 12th and 13th goals of the season to fire Arsenal seven points clear at the top of the Premier League and add further conviction to the Gunners’ title credentials.

Arsene Wenger’s pre-match comments now look rather prescient, given Ramsey’s all-action display against the team for which he made his professional debut.

The manager also carried a warning for Arsenal, which was clearly heeded by his team as they produced a dominant display and stemmed Cardiff pressure at the start of the second half. “They beat City at home and they played a very good game against Manchester United where possession was 50-50, so that is the challenge for us – to do better than these teams,” said Wenger on Friday. “You could feel that they would come back (against United). They have that special attitude and belief in the side, and that makes them dangerous.”
Indeed, only two teams have picked up more points from losing positions than Cardiff, with fight backs against City and United giving the Bluebirds’ home the feel of an elephant’s graveyard.

Not for Arsenal, however, who were more than up to the tusk task on Saturday, led by another superb contribution from the Premier League player of the season so far.

Ramsey embodies Arsenal’s remarkable resilience, which shows little sign of cracking despite desperate attempts to undermine their achievements this year. While the 22-year-old has shown incredible grit and determination to make a mockery of those who wrote him off as he struggled to get over his harrowing leg break, Arsenal have done the same, albeit over a shorter period of time.
Andre Villas-Boas spoke of a ‘negative spiral’ after Spurs’ 2-1 victory over their rivals at the start of March but, as the Portuguese now finds himself under mounting pressure, Arsenal are celebrating a 25th victory in 33 matches since that grueling Sunday in spring.
Given the speed of Arsenal’s transformation it is perhaps difficult to comprehend quite how far they have come in such a short space of time, with many preferring to focus on the 1-0 loss to United as a sign that things will soon change at the top. However, this is a team full of keen students, coached by a manager who may have let his hand slip on the tiller last season, but is now ‘more concentrated, more conscious’, as Santi Cazorla said last week.
As Bayern Munich tore Arsenal apart with embarrassing ease in February, only three days after the Gunners’ were knocked out of the FA Cup by Blackburn and two weeks before that loss to Spurs and the dreadful defensive display that came with it, it seemed that the current cast at the Emirates would never learn.

But then came that night in Munich – the only match in which Bayern have failed to score since April 11, 2012. It was a strange game that taught us little that we didn’t already know about Wenger and his team, and yet the result has galvanized Arsenal in a way few would have imagined.
There are still questions as to whether the Gunners can consistently produce their best performances in the ‘bigger’ tests, with Wenger pointing to ‘nerves’ in the defeat to United, but the idea of a brittle core is crumbling.

Arsenal have not lost in the last 24 Premier League matches in which both Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny have completed 90 minutes, Wojciech Szczesny underlined his improvement with a fine save from Fraizer Campbell on Saturday, while Mathieu Flamini has added steel and a winning mentality – two qualities Olivier Giroud now boasts on a weekly basis. Mesut Ozil brings a dash of panache to go with the new-found gristle.
This is a team that were thoroughly out-thought in a 2-1 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund in October before adapting their approach to leave the Westfalenstadion with a priceless 1-0 win just two weeks later.

After successive defeats at the Emirates to Dortmund and Chelsea, Liverpool were ruthlessly put the sword by a confident and intelligent display that somewhat mirrored Dortmund’s drive through the centre. Napoli and Spurs have also been brushed aside, while wins over Southampton and Cardiff are worthy of great praise given the context.
The gap at the top was not seven points on Saturday merely because Arsenal have been by far the best team in the country this season, but also because of their ability to bounce back from disappointment, both as a group and as individuals. Ramsey is the prime example, of course, but Jack Wilshere also answered his critics with a match-winning display against Marseille in midweek.
Ozil provided two assists in the victory at Cardiff to refute claims of a loss of form – “at any moment he can kill you with a pass” said Wenger on Saturday – while Sagna has now firmly banished the memories of his hapless performance in January’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

It is getting harder to raise the long-standing concerns over Arsenal’s ability to challenge at the top. The mistakes are gradually disappearing; the soft belly has become firmer while doubts over a small squad are alleviated somewhat by Theo Walcott’s return and Lukas Podolski nearing fitness.

Arsenal are evolving to the point at which it will soon be difficult to judge them by previous standards. They are a new beast, a different proposition entirely this season and, as talk of an implosion appears increasingly unlikely, their rivals face a hard task to stop them

Is Ozil The Key To Arsene Wenger’s Revolution?

With the news that Arsenal signed Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil on Monday, Wenger can finally begin to appease some of his most ardent critics who have derided his lack of activity in the

transfer market over the past few seasons since Denis Bergkamp.

The Turbulent Journey
I must say, Arsenal’s transfer window was a journey into several  uncertain directions and Wenger
flirted with several clubs . It is very surprising that after chasing Gozalo Higuain,  Manchester
United’s Wayne Rooney  and going as far as triggering Suarez’s buyout clause the Gunners will end up with Bendtner as the only alternative for Oliver Giroud up front. Now the fans will have to
hope and pray Oliver Giroud doesn’t get injured like they did two seasons ago with Robin
Van Persie.

The Final Breakthrough
Many have argued that Ozil is not exactly what Arsenal need and that there are other pressing
needs like at the center of defence, in the holding midfield role, on the flanks and up front. But in
the actual sense, Wenger has filled those holes by playing Bacary Sagna as an emergency center
back resigning Flamini as a holding midfielder signing Ozil presumably to play on the wing and
seemingly bringing Bendtner back into the fold to play up front.

Side Effect
The biggest worry though will be playing Ozil out of position as he does with so many players. He
loves to buy small, mobile, technically sound central attackers and choke them all over the pitch.
For instance AArshavin and Samir Nasri who played out wide for their entire careers at Arsenal. If
the same thing happens with Ozil, then the fans will be in for a difficult time.

The ‘Midas’ Touch
This situation reminds me of the most famous “king midas” of the greek mythology who had the
ability to everything into gold. This came to be called the “golden touch” or the “midas touch”. Ozil can be that special touch Arsenal have been lacking. He has created more goal assists than  any other player in Europe over the last two years and the North London club scored one goal or fewer in over half of their premier league matches last season. So it simply means his addition will make a lot of difference in terms of results( Quite simply, clean sheets guarantee draw; goals win  you matches)

Ozil gives the Gunners chief the quarterback his squads have missed since Cesc Fabregas left the club. The Germany international is one of the best playmakers in the game today, on par with Barcelona’s Xavi and Juventus’ Andrea Pirlo. He is a fine player and with him in the team Arsenal will now be noticeable and pose a threat to the title contenders.

In conclusion, Arsene Wenger should be commended for pulling a big stunt this summer.  The next nine months will reveal many secrets, but one thing that is for certain, which everybody already knows, is that Mesut Ozil is a wonderful addition to the Premier League as a whole and Arsenal’s side is improved significantly by his signing.

Gunners rejoice: the wait was well worth it.

Thanks for reading.

Biggest transfer deadline day signing: Mesut Ozil’s £42.4m switch from Real Madrid to Arsenal.

Busiest transfer deadline day club: Liverpool and Everton with three signings.

Biggest summer transfer: Gareth Bale’s world record £85.3m move to Spanish side Real Madrid.

FRIDAY TRANSFER GIST: Arsenal Offer Player + £45m for Suarez, United Plot Shock Move For Ozil and Kaka + MORE!

  • Manchester United are considering a bid for Real Madrid’s 24-year-old midfielder Mesut Ozil. Germany international Mesut Ozil joined Real Madrid in 2010 from Werder Bremen for £12.4m
  • The Red Devils are also preparing a shock move for Real Madrid’s Brazilian midfielder Kaka. The new United boss has been keen to recruit a new midfielder all summer, but has so far failed in his attempts to sign the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Kevin Strootman and now former Arsenal captain Fabregas.
  • Liverpool are favourites to sign Anzhi Makhachkala attacking midfielder Willian, 25, for £30m but face strong competition from Tottenham and Manchester United.
  • Manager Brendan Rodgers is concerned Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, 26, could sabotage the Reds’ start to the Premier League with his push for a move away from Anfield.
  • Everton manager Roberto Martinez has warned Manchester United that they will not get midfielder Marouane Fellaini, 25, on the cheap.
  • Real Madrid are confident that Gareth Bale will complete a transfer to the Spanish capital from Tottenham before the end of the transfer window according to The Sun. Madrid are known to have been admirers of Bale for some time and are thought to have made him their top summer target.
  • Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger must double his original bid for Ashley Williams to convince Swansea City to sell. Wenger wants the powerful defender, but has only offered £6million so far as what was billed as a summer of spending by the Gunners has failed to take off.
  • The Emirates Club are also interested in signing Swansea’s hitman Michu
  • West Ham striker Modibo Maiga, 25, is set for a loan move to St Etienne with manager Sam Allardyce considering a move for Besiktas forward Hugo Almeida, 29.
  • Celtic striker Amido Balde, 22, has told goalkeeper Fraser Forster, 25, to turn down any move to Benfica.
  • Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta, 31, could face up to six weeks on the sideline with a suspected torn thigh muscle.
  • England manager Roy Hodgson has warned goalkeeper Joe Hart, 26, that there is competition for his place in the national side after he made a mistake in England’s 3-2 win over Scotland.
  • Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott, 30, is hoping to earn a new contract at the club as he enters the final year of his current deal.
